Chad Gugliuzza –
I purchased a kit for my 2015 Range Rover Vogue and I installed the kit myself while watching there YouTube installation video and it took me just under an hour.
The installation video was one of the best step by step I have seen out there. Just take your time and it’s literally plug and play.
There is a suggestion needed however as I read some reviews from other folks;
Upon completion and full radio testing of my own in source mode, everything works except for sound for google maps and if you’re using the speak to text feature. Also if you’re on the phone speaking with someone you can’t hear them. The instructions do not clearly state that we need to set the audio in the car to Aux to make “everything” work properly. The video just shows music and the touchscreen is working properly in the YouTube video. After speaking to a GTA representative he advised me to switch to AUX mode. Everything worked perfectly. Also, they stated that the seek button on the steering wheel will not work in AUX mode. I have found that seek button on my steering wheel will work if it’s in source mode but not in AUX mode. Basically if I am not using maps or speak to text, I just may keep it in source mode so I can still using the steering control. This is not a big deal whatsoever.
Overall, I am extremely pleased with the radio since it is way better than other products that I reviewed before making the purchase with GTA. And it had definitely improved the look and upgraded my Rover to newer status! After having android in my truck I will never go without in another vehicle again. The customer service and shipping time was spot on as well. Thank you GTA crew for taking the time to help me with all my questions and making this possible for me. Your reviews speak for itself.
