   Overall, great product. Hands free calling works but only if you are stopped. When driving, the microphone picks up so much background noise that people on the receiving end of the call cannot understand you. My car is fairly quiet so it’s not the car. Currently in search of a noise cancelling device for a 3.5 mm microphone but not sure anything exists.

   Hey GTA,
   I Recently bought a 2004 Mazda 3 2,0 Sport with only 88.000km on the clock.
   Searched the net for a BT kit and decided on the GTA kit.
   While waiting for it to arrive I watched all the installation videos and reviews and went to my garage after picking up the package.
   It took me under 30 minutes to fit it and have it working and on my way listening to favorite track from my iPhone – phone calls work great too.

   I bought the pure bluetooth with aux kit. The YouTube video was perfect showing how to remove the stereo. The harness goes straight into the stereo. I had to use the ground wire to power the adapter on but it’s easy to screw to metal. Works great and the folks at GTAcar kits were quick to respond with an answer to my question. Awesome company and great product. No brainer if you need to add bluetooth to your vehicle.

   I recently bought the Pure Bluetooth kit for my Mazda 3 (2004) on gtacarkits.com and it works perfectly! Just like that. No fuss or other issues. Installation took a little longer than expected, but once it was done, it worked like a charm.

   If my next car doesn’t have Bluetooth by default, this will be the first place I’ll look for a Bluetooth car kit.

   Have had this installed my 2004 mazda 3 for a few weeks now. As others said, installation was a breeze due to the numerous installation videos. I stored the module under the panel near the emergency brake.

   Like others, I am not using the aux or the usb charger.

   I had an issue pairing my phone in the beginning (samsung s5). But since then it pairs up automatically and very quickly.

   Phone quality is really good, everybody says they can hear me very clearly.

   The bluetooth quality is also very good. The quality of the music material really makes a difference.

   It works exactly as advertized. Would recommend this to anybody wanting to add bluetooth capability to their car as an alternative to replacing the head unit.

    This product works as advertised. No more cables required for my daily commutes. Installation took me about an hour but I was taking my time. For someone more used to dismantling their car interior it could be done much more quickly. The video was very helpful, although it wasn’t specific to my audio system it did get me through the installation process. A little experimentation with the various buttons and I found the ones that worked. Audio quality is so good that I’m going to buy one for my wife’s car.

    Had this kit in my ’05 Mazda 3 sedan and it worked amazingly for the 3 years I had the car, probably still does. Since I don’t smoke, I passed the wires down into the ashtray, where I was able to hide my iPod classic. Just replaced my car for an ’08 Mazda 3 hatchback and, unfortunately, the stock radio is completely different so I had to pick up a new kit. Will review that one once it’s installed.

    Works great. Instructional video was great. I am not a mechanic and everything was simple enough to follow along. I made it so that the charging cable and AUX cord came out of the ashtray. Nothing broke/scratched, feel confident when going in and taking your car apart.

    THIS PRODUCT IS AMAZING!

    I have done a lot of car installations (head units, speakers, etc.) on dozens of cars and this is by far the easiest installation of any device I have ever done. The videos make installation so easy that I was able to steal my wife’s car from work, install the kit, and have it back in less than 2 hours as a surprise birthday gift. I also fixed a broken AC switch in her dash in that 2 hours, and it was by far the hardest part of the job.

    I also was a little concerned the sound quality might not be that great with an aftermarket tech part like this, but I was blown away by the sound of this unit. Bluetooth sounds better than a CD and the AUX headphone jack is perfect quality as well. I called several people to test the phone quality and it is perfect. I had my wife call me on her way home after the surprise and it sounded perfectly clear.

    The only “modification” I made was that I ran a male to female USB extension cable to the center console so I can swap out the charger cable to friends phones or an older iPod instead of just being stuck with an iPhone 6 charger.

    I liked this product so much I went out of my way to write a review of it, and I will be buying on for my own car shortly…I’m a little jealous of my wife’s car.

    I have a 2005 Mazda 3 SP23. You only really need 2 skills to install this device
    1. The ability to watch and listen carefully to youtube videos
    2. Know how to use a screwdriver

    It was ridiculous how easy it was to install the GTACarKit and it worked. I am so happy that I chose this product. Thank you guys so much for the awesome product, the cheap price tag that comes with the product and for the instructional video.

    I will be recommending this product to anyone who has ears and a car.

    Just installed the GTA Bluetooth car kit on my Mazda 3 04. I am very happy with my car now. I used to burn CDs in order to listen to music/audio book. Now I can download music/audiobook to my phone and listen without burning CDs.

    Note:
    -Took me 1.5 hours to install.

    -I ignore the AUX and iPhone cable. Bluetooth music and Handsfree is good enough for me.

    -The video recommend using a plastic tool to pry open the “console” near the steering wheel. I couldn’t get that to work. Instead, I used the following method:

    1 – left side console: remember in the video, he said you need to pull a rubber piece to install the microphone? Pull that rubber piece down further just a bit below the steering wheel. You will see a gap between the metal frame and the plastic console, insert your fingers in between and pull toward you. You have a much better grip this way. I did not use the plastic pryer at all.

    2 – right side console: insert your left hand between the steeling wheel and right side console pull toward yourself.

    3 – With the car kit and the bluetooth module, there are a lot of stuff to be put behind the stereo. With the stereo pull out and look at the slot/hole, you will see a metal piece right at the center on the back. There are space on the left and on the right of that metal piece. In fact, it’s like two little compartments. I lay the car kit flat on the left of the metal piece and lay the bluetooth module flat on the right. I tucked the wire from the stereo to the carkit toward the hole between the stereo slot and the steering wheel. I used the twisty that came with the kit to hold all the wires so they don’t go loose. That should do the trick. You should be able to slide the stereo back in without much effort.

    I struggled for almost a year looking for FM transmitters that had terrible sound quality. When i got my GTA car kit it was simple to install using the Youtube video and the sound is perfect. Its been about a year since I’ve had it and I’ve been happy ever since.

    ” DUDE..I was going crazy calling Mazda to get a darn AUX cord put into my 06 Mazda3. Apparently I couldn’t buy the control unit unless it was already put in the car back in ’06. THAT WAS BALONY. My next option was buying a stereo at Best Buy which they told me it would cost me $200-$300 just for a special car stereo installation kit (plastic frame) because my three analog stereo was special and it was also attached to heat/air vents. No no no, I am not paying $500 for a new radio frame JUST FOR an AUX cord, you crazy kid.

    THEN YOU ARRIVED. First off I got a personal email from one of your guys named Maurizio who was super kind and nice, confirming that my package was shipped and and how he’s expediting my package to me (didnt ask for more money) and it should come in 3-5 to five days. Well I got it at 9am on the third morning on the North East US.

    FRESH. Finally, I’ve never heard such clear and crisp sound from my phone using your cords instead of that stupid FM Transmitter from Ebay that kills all my FM stations. I simply plugged and played this kit to the back of my stereo (guess what Mazda – I can put a AUX control kit in) and ran the wire down the side of the cabin and now I got a sleek looking cord chillen. At last I can hear some crisp good Bass knocking House Music.

    Thanks a lot guys, you did good work with the Kit and I promise you you’l get some more buyers from me.”

    “Just received the GTA Car Kit and very pleased with the final result.

    Using the Youtubevideo guide, having no experience in car wiring, I just followed the steps inthe video and it was just too easy. Rather than pulling the shifter panel witha hook and risking scratching the plastic, in the Youtube comments someonewrote that by opening the center armrest and then pulling, the handbrake andshifter panel both came out, it worked just fine with no scratches at all.

    I ran the Wire Harness from the CD player, down to the gearbox shifter and taped the ModuleUnit to the side of the shifter, thus having more than required length for boththe AUX and the iPhone cable. I taped both wires under the cup holder and passedthese through the side of cup holder. To prevent the door of the cup holderfrom pressing against the wires, I drilled a hole under the door and inserted asmall screw to allow an opening for the wires when the cup holder is opened.And finally, placed everything back. And also when not being used, Ijust put the wires in the cup holder and close the lid.

    I had used an FM transmitter, but was very disappointed withthe poor quality and low volume sound. But I was extremely pleased with the GTACar Kit, the sound quality is way far in front of the FM transmitter, the musicplayed is crystal clear even at maximum volume. I also love the plug and playfunction and using the steering wheel buttons!

    I recommend the GTA Car Kit to everyone!”

    I just installed my car kit and wanted to let you know how pleased I am with it! I received it 2 days after ordering it online, and, using your youtube video, was able to install it in 30 minutes. Let me be clear: I am a 22 year old female with no knowledge of cars or electronics, but I installed this alone in just one half hour. I am so excited about how well it works and how professional it looks! I did want to share a few tips on its installation, though, if you wanted to put this on your website. (For reference, I was installing the car kit in my 2006 Mazda3.)

    – I was able to remove the bar (in step 1) without a screwdriver. I couldn’t find the hooks indicated in the video, so in trying to find them with my fingers, I ended up pulling it out!
    – I followed a comment from youtube and removed the trip around the shifter by simply opening up the center armrest and pull the trim upwards where the latch closes. I then worked my way to the front of the trim near the shifter. By doing this, I did not have to worry about scratching the trim.
    – I avoided drilling a hole in my ashtray by unscrewing the screw holding the lightbulb to the ashtray. This creates a perfect sized hole to feed the iPod cord through, and looks very clean!

    “I have zero experience with car wiring and this was a simple install. It took me a little over an hour and I was taking my time. I really think you could do it in 20 minutes if you needed to. The only tool I used was a screw driver. I decided to run my cables into the cup holder instead of the ash tray. I didn’t want to take the ash tray out because I store spare change in there.

    I’ve waited to do this to my 04 because I was afraid of breaking something. Now I wish I had done it years ago.”

    “I used FM transmitter that had static and low volume, heard the GTA car kit in my friends car and it was clear.

    Shipping was 2 days.

    The install was very easy, took no more than 15minutes, watching the video from my iPhone step by step during install.

    I’m using an iPhone4 in my Mazda3, and for now cables just run down the side of the console, will consider passing through ashtray at a later date. I like easy install and use of my steering wheel controls. I would recommend your kit to my friends.”

    “I installed the car kit today. Everything works great.

    The installation of the car kit was simple. The video tutorial made it even easier and was a very valuable tool to my successful install. For the stock deck, there’s a compartment for an expansion. I placed the box there, so it literally took up no space inside. The cables were long enough to reach most areas. I decided to place my cable under the ashtray and cup holder. The cable comes up from the hand-break and into the storage box. This way both the iPod and the cables are hidden.

    The quality of the sound is excellent! The sound of the car kit pumps out more power than the stock AUX port. The bass seems to sound better as well. The unit was tested with both AUX and iPod plugged in at the same time with no problems. The best of all, are the steering wheel controls. Instead of manually changing songs on the iPod, using the steering wheel controls allows me to shuffle songs without taking the eyes off the road. However, it would be much better if the iPod can be paused and play using the dash controls. The iPod also charges and stops/pauses the song when you’re not using it.

    Overall, I am very satisfied with the product. The installation took less than an hour, and the convenience and quality are fabulous.”

    ” This kit worked like a charm! I do like to take things apart but not in cars and this only took me an hour to do.
    Super easy install.

    The only issue I had was trying to figure out how to get the cd player back in with the wires and box out of the way and I used a little bit of Velcro then tucked them in the back to the left. I also put the wire thru the ash tray and didn’t have to drill anything just pulled out the red? plastic piece and fed the wire thru that.
