WoW! Quick delivery, easy to install and it works exactly as I expected. The person on the vidéo that gives the instructions is amazing, and easy to follow. It took me approximately 20 min. To install in my Mazda MX 5.

2016 BMW 640i convertible owner. This GTA car kit is the “Real Deal!” I installed it while I watched the video. Straight forward and simple as can be. Works perfectly. Initially, I did not have any sound so I rechecked my wiring harness and found that I did not fully push in one of the clips. Works exactly as promised. Very happy. Total time to install while watching the video was about one hour. Kit arrived about 5 days after I ordered it. Two thumbs up on this product. I would definitely recommend this product.

I ordered the GTA Car Kit for my Jaguar on Sunday a week ago, and it was delivered the following Friday to Germany. That was excellent. I followed the installation exactly as shown in the video, and it worked without any problems. The video was really helpful since all the details were explained. The installation does take a bit of time, but with the video tutorial, even I was able to do it. Afterwards, I had a question about the configuration, which was immediately answered by the support team . All in all, I am absolutely satisfied with the delivery, performance, and support. Great job and thank you very much.

Installed in a 2008 RX when Apple’s switch to USB C for the iPhone meant my old iPod connection unit no longer worked, even with a Lightning to USB C adaptor. Dismantling the radio actually proved as easy and as fast as the video illustrated. (Put something under to catch the radio bolts when you remove them. I dropped one and retrieving is not easy, in my case, impossible.) I bought the optional pry bar tool set, and while you don’t need them to do the job, they were a nice to have. The resultant sound quality is excellent. Telephone quality is also good. Track selection on the steering wheel doesn’t work, but not a biggie (I switch tracks on a watch anyway), and possibly I’m not doing something right. Steering wheel volume control does work, as do telephone controls. I’m thrilled with this purchase, and wish I had done it years ago.

Quality product for sure. The install video was a MUST and very helpful. The detail it provided for the install gave me the confidence to “disassemble” my G63…not something I may have tackled had it not been for the excellent reviews. For those who are considering or did purchase, one point i would make is that in the video it references the FIBER OPTICS modular connection…ensure you plug it back in, oriented properly. The modular connection for the FIBER OPTICS can actually be installed up-side-down, causing some issues so pay attention to how it came out of the factory unit and how you reconnect to the GTA unit…small detail but big difference. Also, I put the GTA unit NOT behind the MB factory radio but opted for behind the glove-box (not to the left but to the far right lower corner…it had a bunch of room and all the wires had plenty of length to reach.

I highly recommend the unit, my wife loves having CARPLAY in the G63!!

Decided to do this when the wife was out of town, glad I did, she would have freaked seeing her new Porsche interior pulled apart😉

Kit was shipped quickly and nice packaging.

The installation video was very helpful, but a few things I learned:
– Separating the radio was difficult, there is a piece of white tape on one side that you have to slice before opening it. Also, getting leverage on the side locks (used 2 small flat head screw drivers) and pushing the top off was not easy.
– Make sure the new white cables are fully seated, even being a bit off caused issues and I had to do this twice (user error).
– There is only 1 antenna now, not 2 which was listed when I bought the kit.
– I had to zip tie the cables in the back of the radio to get it pushed in far enough.
– The installation kit add-on was money well spent.
– Once installed and working, you hold the “Info” button to get back to CarPlay if you select something else on the radio like FM.
– The steering wheel button won’t start Siri.
– Your phones WiFi will show as disabled, GTA says it’s still on in the background, not sure if that’s possible, so GPS mapping may not be as accurate, not sure how to confirm.

CarPlay works great, very happy with the upgrade, I have some friends who are considering adding it to their older 911’s.

Don’t know what is better, the product, or the service support! Both are superb!

Great value quality product, straightforward to install and excellent after sales service for people like me who forget they unplugged the aux to usb and can’t figure out where the audio has gone

I installed this unit in my 2013 ML350 it ended up working perfectly. I had a problem in the beginning because I got confused with the radio programming settings. GTA promptly replied and it was a breeze from then on. I followed the video step by step and that made the install easygoing. I highly recommend GTA as they know what customer service means.

Great upgrade, installed into my 2015 GL550 with no issues; I still have access to AM/FM/SiriusXM Radio and bluetooth through the default Mercedes COMAND interface if I need it.

Not complicated but does take some confidence to do. Overall took me a little over an hour including the 15 minute waiting period to make sure the new Engineering Mode settings took effect (it’s for enabling AUX input, directions are mentioned in the setup instructions).

At one point while adjusting the settings in the Engineering Mode menu, I ran into something I had a question about so I emailed GTA car kits about it. They got back to me in exactly 15 minutes which I really appreciated since I emailed them past 5 PM ET.

It’s pretty much exactly what I was looking for, a drop-in unit to add Android Auto to my car. Works with all the built-in cameras for my car (which has front, side, and rear cameras).

I will say that the voice call quality (coming from whoever you’re calling) isn’t as good as what the stock Mercedes COMAND offers, but that’s not a big deal for me. Might just require some fine-tuning in the audio settings.

Another thing to keep in mind is that as you hook up all the cable harnesses, make sure to do it in a way that doesn’t result in any weird kinks and twists so that re-installing the head unit is as pain-free as possible.
