  • Ordering was simple, very helpful staff and I had the kit two days after ordering online. Installation was this easy: I gave the kit to my 14 y/o to install and he had it completed in an hour simply by following the YouTube installation videos. Sound quality and convenience is outstanding. Great product and even better customer service.

  • Wow Wow and Wow! I am so sad I waited this long to add something this fantastic to my Pilot. I am SO impressed. I am a huge music lover, and not having access to my sound library was becoming a serious issue. Replacing the head unit was a complicated option because my pilot has the rear entertainment system with DVD (RES) as well as the factory sub. This was such a fantastic and easy solution. The sound quality is excellent, and the functionality as smooth as you could ask for. I could hear no obvious difference between my CD’s, the Bluetooth, and the 3.5mm plug (for an mp3 file…have not tried WAV or FLAC file yet). The sound quality for phone calls was noticeably thin on my end and had a fair amount of noise, but my wife said on her’s it was very clear. The ease of use of this function makes it still worth it. Music stops automatically when a call comes in, and even picks up again after hanging up.

I ordered the Pure Bluetooth unit. The kit arrived in 2 days! I was unsure what to order as the RES system for the EX-L wasn’t listed. I emailed GTA and Maurizio replied the same day. He told me to order the NAV version as it has the correct Y cable so you don’t lose functionality of the DVD system. Ended up working perfectly.

The videos were incredibly helpful. I am handy, but I don’t do much with cars. I had my dash torn apart and the system installed and working in about 30 minutes. I elected to route the cables down to the center console and mounted the GTA unit underneath the cigarette lighter power plug. Looks like it is OEM, and gives easy access to the USB and 3.5mm jack. I used this other GTA video to figure out how to route to the center console:

It took several hours to get all the wires tucked away cleanly, but the final result looks and sounds absolutely fantastic. Maintaining use of the steering wheel controls and being able to operate my phone through the head unit is huge. I have both android and iPhone (Galaxy Note 4 and iPhone 5s), and both were able to connect without any issues.

All in all this was a fantastic purchase. I would recommend it without question. Do yourself a favor and buy the panel removal tools too. I couldn’t have done it so smoothly without them. Thank you for making such a fantastic product!

  • After recently purchasing a 2009 Honda Accord, I realized it didn’t have the ability to make phone calls or play music from my iPhone wirelessly via bluetooth. After considering whether I wanted to chance doing an aftermarket integration, I went to my local car audio installation specialty shop and they quoted me an estimate of between $400-500 to integrate these features. That seemed way too expensive, so I looked for other options and after a quick Google search, I came across the GTA Car Kit. Based largely on customer reviews like this one, I decided to go ahead
and purchase one of their Pure Bluetooth kits. Shipping was fast, and a few days later I had the kit in hand. Following the YouTube videos made installation easy and about 45 minutes later I was up and running. Not only do I love my new integrated phone/bluetooth features, but I was most impressed by their customer service. I asked the GTA Car Kit folks a TON of questions via email and Facebook both before and after the purchase and install and they were great at responding quickly with knowledgeable and helpful answers.

If you are on the fence about purchasing one of their kits, don’t be. I am beyond pleased with my kit and made it a point to write this review because I was so impressed. Keep up the excellent work GTA Car Kit staff!

  • I bought the GTAcar kit AUX kit for my daughter’s 2000 Toyota Celica GTS. I am by no means an electrician or handy when it comes to cars but I mananged to easily install this kit in the Celica in about 20 minutes. I watched the video twice and everything went as planned. The only difference is that my daughter’s Celica is an automatic transmission. So, in order to remove the shift console cover, I had to put the transmission shifter in neutral to have enough room to move the cover out of the way. Very easy to install and it worked like a charm with her iPhone 5S. The clarity in the music is outstanding. Great way to upgrade an older radio.

  • My 2004 Honda Accord has a factory receiver. Ever since I purchased my first iPhone a few years ago, I’ve wanted to have the ability to access my iTunes music in the car. I’ve installed audio systems for numerous other cars over the years, and considered upgrading the Accord. When I first researched replacement solutions for my Accord, I learned that the entire head unit would need to be replaced, as there were no aftermarket solutions that would integrate with the factory unit without the GPS or Sirius/XM features. The only alternative was an $80 FM wireless transmitter that I installed. It was the best they offered at the local audio shop, who’s won national awards for their custom audio installations, but being transmitted through FM, the audio quality was not great.

I recently searched for a replacement head unit for the Accord when I found GTA Car Kits. The price for the Pure Bluetooth solution was reasonable, at less than half the cost of an aftermarket replacement head unit. The shipping was quick. And GTA Car Kits had a step-by-step setup video for my specific car that made installation super easy. Everything covered in the video was exactly as it was in my car.

The Pure Bluetooth audio solution was easy to install because it attaches directly to the factory receiver using a pre-made connection block, designed specifically for the factory receiver. It literally was plug and play. One connection, that was all. The system works exactly as described in the installation video and the audio quality is as good as if the factory unit actually came with Bluetooth – as good as popping a CD into the drive!

I am absolutely satisfied with the Pure Bluetooth system and highly recommend it to others.

  • I bought and installed one of these for my 2005 RX 8 in 2013. It has been working flawlessly since then. This is an awesome device and does what it says it does. I can literally take a 7 day road trip and not hear the same song twice!! Not to mention having playlists and any song I want literally at my fingertips while driving. Never have to let go of the wheel either, which is a great safety feature too. Sounds awesome and my “special” driving play list , aptly named ” Road Music” is for when I’m cruising the New York City streets in the summer with the windows down, or when I’m “heading down the highway” at cruising speed! Not having to buy and install a customized $400 stereo just to use my pod is great, I hardly ever listen to the radio anymore. Nice job GTA!

  • Just got the Pure Bluetooth installed on my Mazda 6, 2007.
The guys had it installed and running within 30 minutes.
Works great, integrates into car steering wheel and Media center. USB port available for charging while connected on bluetooth.
Phone quality is great through the system, and calls can be received through buttons on Media Center.
Highly recommend, great addition to older cars without all the new technology in new vehicles.
