Bluetooth and iPhone/iPod/AUX Kits for Honda Accord 2003-2007
January 19, 2015Had a 65 degree day in mid January here in Kansas, so I thought I’d install the kit today. I prepared for a long complicated install. I watched the install video, but was a bit apprehensive. It looked too easy.
Could not have been any better! I had all my tools ready, including the magnet, which I needed. 30 minutes, start to finish and my daughters car had the XM radio, which is just a bit different on the wiring.
Thank You to GTA and the young man who did the install video. -
Bluetooth and iPhone/iPod/AUX Kits for Lexus ES 2004-2006
January 14, 2015This unit will install perfectly on a Lexus with navigation if you do not need the CD unit. Just follow the regular installation only unplug the external CD from the radio-nav unit and plug in the device cable.
Now you have an AUX that works with phone or MP3 player great. -
Bluetooth and iPhone/iPod/AUX Kits for Toyota Solara 2004-2008
January 10, 2015I just finished installing this in my 2006 Solara with Navigation. Following the instructions in the video I was able to install this kit in about an hour. I did not need to remove the upper vent panel to get to the back of the radio. I was able to reach up behind the radio and plug in the kit. I have a JBL e7001 head unit with navigation and satellite XM radio. Everything works perfectly with the kit installed. I am so happy to have an aux jack in my car now to play music! I’m pretty sure I’ll be ordering the bluetooth kit too. Wonderful kit. thank you!

Bluetooth and iPhone/iPod/AUX Kits for Mazda RX-8 2004-2008
January 6, 2015Went in like a charm (2006 Mazda RX-8). Version 9.82 software, just like in the video. That side bolt is hard to reach, man! I managed not to drop it, though. One note – you really do have to pull the radio well out of the bay so that you can see the connector; you can’t really see it very well from the bottom. Pull that baby out, tip it down, and look for it up higher. Fishing the wire into the glove box wasn’t too bad; I put the iPod and the little GTA black box in the glove box. No problems putting everything back together, and it works like a boss. No more talking head morning FM DJs for me! Thanks, GTA!

Bluetooth and iPhone/iPod/AUX Kits for Lexus RX 2004-2009
January 2, 2015This kit works like a charm! It took about an hour to install, but it’s because I was being super careful and doing it slowly. Probably can be done in 20 mins or so if you want. I have a Lexus RX 2004, and the original cd player is kinda dying and often times won’t load / play cd, so I really wanted to have an iPod extension / blue tooth. First tried those crappy tape adapter, the quality is absolutely unacceptable. Then I went to Best Buy just to see what they have, was thinking I don’t want to deal with it and just have a professional install it. But I didn’t see anything I like and then I found this GTA car kit which costs around the same as the other stereos. And the video above is what convinced me to buy this GTA car kit, since it showed such detailed instructions and it didn’t look too bad. I bought the GTA kit, the Bluetooth extension, and also the panel removal tools, total of about $180. Then I also got the extension bar, and the magnet pick up tool. Everything mentioned in the video above, and YES! You need them all. Maybe you could do away with the panel removal tool, but I’d recommend getting it too. And everything worked pretty much EXACTLY as this video to described. A couple minor notes for anyone else who have a 2004 instead of a 2007 model RX; 1. Unlike the video above, it didn’t need the Y cable. When I pulled out the stereo, there’s an empty slot that fits the GTA Car kit. 2. For the 4 bolts holding the stereo, the top ones are indeed tricky to get to as the video says. Unscrewing it wasn’t too bad, since I did get the magnet tool and it grabbed the bolt without problem, but I have no clue how to put it back. The stereo is very sturdy with just the bottom two bolts, so I just left the top two out. Didn’t want to risk dropping the bolt into who knows wear while trying to screw it back on. 3. For the bluetooth extension, the one touch button was a bit hard to stick. The button comes with double sided tape which wasn’t sticky at all. But it’s not critical to tape it down I guess, the panel keeps the button pretty stable if you just pull the wire all the way in. Other than these minor things, this kit totally works. Very happy that now I can use my iPod / bluetooth and keeping my original stereo that has the Lexus logo on it!!!!

Bluetooth and iPhone/iPod/AUX Kits for Honda Odyssey 2005-2010
December 30, 2014Purchased the GTA Car Kit for a 2006 Honda Odyssey with the AUX/XM button on the stock head unit. I also added the bluetooth kit and the phone holder for the vent. It literally took me 45 – 60 minutes of total time to install everything and make sure it all works. Works flawlessly and sounds beautiful. Thanks for making a great product. My wife can now listen to her iphone playlists, iHeart Radio, and Audible via bluetooth on her iPhone. My daughter can listen to her iPad and iPod over the iPhone adapter or AUX cable, and I am able to use the bluetooth and AUX for my Android. The bluetooth connects lightning fast and is not flakey like the bluetooth enabled head unit on my car. We can also answer calls and everything works flawlessly. I always listen with the bluetooth volume on my Android turned up all the way and had no issues with this unit. I did the same with the iPhone and it had some static. The video says to turn the volume on the iPhone to about 70%, so when I realized the volume could be the reason for static, I went to 70% and the sound is crystal clear. Again, amazing product. Nice to see such user friendly and well working equipment for a reasonable price. Thanks, I will recommend your product to everyone, you deserve it!!!!

Bluetooth and iPhone/iPod/AUX Kits for Honda Odyssey 2005-2010
December 29, 2014Perfect product! Videos made it crazy simple. I learned you don’t even need to un-hook the left-most plug behind the dash–you can just lift off the dash over the gear shift, and rest it in the driver’s seat. I ran the cord from the black box just down beside the glove boxes, and out the bottom–plenty of cord left to end up in the console between the front seats. This is a perfect solution; we don’t use Sirius, but the fact that we could, with the Y connector, is awesome for those who do. And being able to control the iPod/Phone with the steering wheel and existing stereo controls is sublime. I’m using an iPad mini, which works exactly the same as the other devices EXCEPT that it doesn’t charge the iPad, but that’s a small consolation to a perfect product that I installed in 15 minutes. Nice work guys! Now I just need one for my 1997 BMW 5 series. 🙂

Bluetooth and iPhone/iPod/AUX Kits for Honda Odyssey 2005-2010
December 25, 2014Just wanted to drop a quick note from North Carolina, USA.
Bought the 2005-2010 Honda Odyssey kit recently and installed got around to installing it yesterday in my van. Awesome. Took me about 30 mins total, active time. The parts not covered in the video (putting van in neutral and exactly where to route cable) were easy enough to figure out and I was very quickly jamming to my music in my van…. I can’t tell you how happy this makes me.
Thanks so much!!!
I have Toyota tacoma 2000 and I think this is going to be the solution for all the mass of cables I have in my truck
