Bluetooth and iPhone/iPod/AUX Kits for Mazda MPV 2002-2006
January 25, 2013“I came across your website when I was trying to look for a product that I can use to play songs from my iPhone through my existing car stereo. I tried using FM transmitter in the past. The sound quality was so poor that I had to remove it. The transmitter is sitting somewhere in my garage collecting dust.
The shipping surprisingly was very fast. I expected my GTA car kit to take over a month, but I received it in less than 2 weeks.
The installation was very quick It only took me less than half an hour. The instruction video was ver clear and easy to understand. I have an iPhone 5 and my wife has an iPhone 4. We are both using our iPhones to listen to our favourite music. The iPod cable are connected directly to the GTA car kit.
I really like that GTA Car Kit is easy to install and use. The car kit produces music with excellent clarity.
GTA car kit is excellent value for money and I will recommend the product to all my friends, family and will sure it on my Facebook.Thank you GTA Car Kit. GTA car kit makes listening to music so much fun.”

Bluetooth and iPhone/iPod/AUX Kits for Mazda 5 2006-2009
January 20, 2013“I read about the kit on thread on Mazda247.com forums. I followed a link to the “how-to” video on youtube on the Mazda5 installation. I’d heard that the FM transmitters didn’t work. I searched my local retailers Car Toy s and they didn’t seem to offer anything for my vehicle beyond upgrading the factory car stereo.
The shipping was very fast. I was impressed. I was under the gun to give the kit as a Christmas present. I’d left it until after the standard Dec 18th window for receiving before the 24th, but I still got the kit well in advance of my deadline of Christmas Eve. Such a load off my mind and the shipping was standard and free! Really awesome.
I had some experience working on a car interior – but it was a 90’s car with clips and brackets that they just don’t use any more. Very fragile stuff. So I really didn’t trust myself to install this without a big hassle but the video and some schematics I downloaded off the internet gave me the extra push to try it. It turned out to be way, way, way easier than I thought. I think modern cars are more simply designed these days. Cheap yes, but simple to work on too. I basicall prepared 100 percent longer than it actually took. I had purchased some plastic pry bars for working with installation trim at Harbor Freight. This was the first time I’ve used these $3 tools, some different shaped pry bars, and could have improvised with a screw driver but it was a bit nicer to be sure I didn’t scratch the dash. But the install didn’t really require extra tools.
We are using an iPhone4S and iPhone3S with the kit. The main connector to the radio has a decent length so easily ran the Kit “head” into the glove box. We put some double stick, male/female velcro on a small shelf in the glove box. Then we just ran the cable out of he close box. The rubber gasket around let’s it open and close on the cable. We bought the additional dash device holder that hangs from the head vent on the inside passenger side. The cable isn’t proment at all and runs behind the holder. Looks fine. Oh and the kit can control, advance music on websites like Pandora and Hypem. Internet radio etc. We use that more than ipod features because we live in a big city and have unlimited data streaming with AT&T.
I really lithe that kit works as advertised! Controlling the phone from the steering wheel controls is really great. This kit isn’t just an interface or adapter but also delivers control capabilities. It is “smart” in marketing terms for what it does.
Overall the kit is priced appropriately and is a good value. The service was good and the product showed some design smarts. Not just junky stuff from knocked off in China. Someone put some thought into this and it is worth it. Also the store was flawless and shipping quick. All in all just very few hassles. It really saves money from visiting a Best Buy or Car Toys or some other car stereo shop. If you can handle the install which is simpler than you think it is so much better than having some trunk monkey mess around with your car. You get to see what’s under your dash. And it’s simply amazing what some of these vendor charge you for installation. It literally took 10 minutes. If I did it again I could probably do it again in 5.”

Bluetooth and iPhone/iPod/AUX Kits for Honda Odyssey 2005-2010
January 17, 2013“Like other reviewers, I found GTA Car Kits through a Google search for an iPhone 4 and iPod Touch compatible connector for my 2007 Honda Odyssey EX van. I previously had a Dice unit, which worked fairly well with my older iPod classic 5th generation, although it wasn’t perfect. It wasn’t at all compatible with my iPod Touch or iPhone 4. I tried a few different adaptors, which were suggested by the car audio specialist who installed my Dice unit. They didn’t work.
After watching the GTA installation video and researching other units and reading many reviews, I felt confident that the GTA kit was the best option. I knew that if I couldn’t install it myself, it wouldn’t cost much to have someone else install it. So, I ordered it on a Sunday night, received shipping information on Monday, and the kit was in my mailbox on Wednesday!
Armed with my Phillips screwdriver, a regular screwdriver (because I didn’t have a clip removing tool), a flashlight and my laptop, I hopped in my Odyssey and began the installation. I worked cautiously and slowly, so it took me about 1 hour to complete the installation. Plus, I forgot to connect the MP3 auxiliary cord, which I discovered after replacing the “pocket box” (mini glove compartment) and screws. No big deal – it only took 5 minutes to rectify. I’m sure a more experienced person could easily install the kit in about 30 minutes or less.
And the best part. the kit works!!!
Here are a few things I discovered during the installation process: (Side note – I am a 57 year old woman. I completed the installation without any help.)
The GTA video is fantastic. It’s all you need for a successful installation. I suggest you watch it twice before beginning the installation. In addition, it was very helpful to play the video in the van during the installation.
As pictured in the video, but not explicitly stated, it is best to position the gear shift in the neutral or drive position. It makes it much easier to remove the dash cover panel. This means you can’t remove the key from the ignition, as stated to do in the print version of the installation guide included in the kit. I’m sure it is for safety reasons that the instructions say to shut off the ignition and remove the key. But if you look closely at the video, you will note that the Odyssey is powered-up, so I didn’t feel concerned.
Prying the dash panel off was a little scary. I thought I might break it, but I didn’t. It came off perfectly and snapped back in place without incident.
I was not strong enough to remove the panel plug closest to the steering wheel. It didn’t matter. I was careful to not put any stress on the connected wires as I removed the panel.
I didn’t have any problem disconnecting the other plugs and screws. I have average hand strength. If your hand strength is compromised, you may need to have someone help you with this during the installation.
If you want to have the MP3 connection option, too, remember to plug in the cord!”

Bluetooth and iPhone/iPod/AUX Kits for Lexus GX 2004-2009
January 5, 2013“I was researching online how to hook up my iphone and I found GTA. After I looked at your video online, I thought, “I can do this” and placed the order.
The shipping took 3 days I think. I was pleased. One day faster than I was expecting.Installation wasn’t too bad. It probably took my an hour and a half but I was taking my time so as not to break anything. The only thing I had to buy was the “clip removal tool” and I had to go to 2 car places before I found a good one. It worked great though. The installation video was what made me buy the kit to begin with. Great stuff.
Overall it was good purchase – Lexus wanted $500 to make an adapter work. Ridiculous. You guys got it right.”

January 3, 2013“I heard about GTA CAR Kit searching on youtube. I tried FM transmiters but did not like the sound quality.
Shipping was 4 days. Faster than promised.

I have an Ipod touch and works great but mostly I use it with my windows phone that runs Zune music through the AUX/cable.
I like sound the most – you get outstanding quality sound.Absolutely recommend it, easy to install, good quality sound and good instructions.”

Bluetooth and iPhone/iPod/AUX Kits for Acura MDX 2005-2006
December 30, 2012“I just wanted to write you a quick review of my GTA Car Kit. It just arrived in the mail today (ordered three days ago), and installation in my 2005 Acura MDX took about 20 minutes with the help of your video. My wife bought me an FM transmitter for Christmas, and it worked very poorly due to the number of radio stations in Portland.
I did extensive research prior to ordering, and decided to go with the GTA Car Kit because: 1) It seemed to integrate with the existing stereo/nav unit more seamlessly than any of your competitors. 2) The resume feature is very appealing and works flawlessly. 3) The unit charges my phone while plugged in. 4) The video makes the installation process a breeze. FYI – I don’t have an experience with taking apart anything in cars, but felt very confident through every step in the process after watching the video. 5) Your website is very helpful.
I also called prior to ordering to ensure that I could speak to an actual human, and was pleased that the person answering the phone was extremely knowledgable and was easily able to answer all of my questions.
The unit works great. I’ve used it with the iPod, Spotify, Pandora, and all worked beautifully and resumed each time i returned to the car. I am very satisfied. Thank you!”

Bluetooth and iPhone/iPod/AUX Kits for Toyota Tacoma 2005-2015
December 12, 2012“Found your kit on public forums – Tacoma world.
I had a toylink aux connector and I have tried an FM transmitter in the past. I also tried my own fancy solder work to connect just an auxiliary cord. The reason I chose GTA Car kit is because of the comparability with the steering wheel controls in my Tacoma and the fact it has an iPod hookup AND an auxiliary cord coming from one unit to connect anything with a stereo cord.
Shipped within a week. I live in British Columbia, Canada.
I’ve taken apart my stereo about 6 times before so installation was a breeze, one plugin in the back. All in all it took about 15 minutes. Only needed a socket set for my stereo to remove it which I have.
I’m using an IPhone 5 and occasionally an IPod. I ran my wires down in front of my stick shift. You can’t see the hole where it’s placed and the wires tuck into the cubby perfectly when not in use.
I like the steering wheel controls, and compatibility with practically any MP3 player.
Overall awesome value. Cheapest car kit I could find and it’s a Canadian company. I’ve already been telling anyone who needs one about then!! Great customer service as well.”

Bluetooth and iPhone/iPod/AUX Kits for Honda Odyssey 2005-2010
December 10, 2012“Googled for adapter on the internet for my Honda Odyssey 2009, then saw youtube video for installation.
I picked GTA car kit because I didn’t want a non factory car stereo, I heard the FM transmitters where not that good, and I saw a lot of good reviews of your product on the internet.
Thought the product shipped quickly. No complaints.
Installation was pretty simple as I followed the youtube video and it took me about 1/2 hour. The hardest part was trying to create enough space with the wiring to push the radio back into place to screw it down. Did not need any special tools and thought it was really easy following the youtube video.
I am using an iPhone 4S. Ran the iPhone cables through the vent and will be using the car holder to mount the iPhone.
I really like the fact that you can use stereo controls to change channels and volum is key! I also like the fact that the it was easy to install and looks professional.
The vent car holder had a faulty part on it (rail on spring kept falling off one side) that would not allow to hook it into vent without falling off with the slightest movement. Called your customer service number, sent a follow up email a few minutes later, and within an hour or so I got a confirmation email that your company would be shipping out another adapter free of charge. Very happy with the customer service aspect and the quick turn around!!
I think this is a really good product that is very easy to install and works every bit as advertised!
Thank you”
“I very rarely leave comments, but I HIGHLY recommend the GTA Car Kit. I just bought a used 2006 Highlander with Nav but no AUX output. Car Toys wanted over $300 for a new radio with AUX output, AND they said it would break my Nav unit!! This kit arrived quickly and took < 30 minutes to install. AND, the best part is.... it works GREAT!!! Thanks tons for the video. It was very helpful!!!"
