Wow. This is the best Pure Bluetooth device. Setup in the 2002 Acura TL. Sound quality is flawless and as easy as the videos. Thank you GTA.

I just installed the bluetooth version in my 2002 Acura TL and it works extremely well (much better than expected). I did the shortcut where I only removed the passenger side panels and was able to sneak the connector into the back of the stereo without removing it (5 minutes of fiddling). I ran the mic to the top of the drivers side pillar and USB charging cable behind the dash with an exit near the middle air vent (my phone mount point). Total install took 2-3 hours to run everything neatly, but I’m really happy with the result. I can’t believe I suffered through all of those years using a cassette tape with aux wire! The hands free phone through the stereo is super clear.

I just installed your GTA Car Kit in my 2000 Acura TL. The installation took a lot longer than I expected. There are a few differences with a 2000 TL and the 2003 TL in the video but it wasn’t hard to figure out what to do.
The main differences are:
1) The 2000 TL has some extra screws that are used instead of clips.
2) There are no 8 mm hex screws. All you need is a Phillips screwdriver.
3) The 2000 TL stereo is a little different than the one in the video. There are 4 mounting screws used on a 2000 TL stereo.
The most difficult part was removing and reinstalling the heated seat switches. As an extra bonus, I found several dollars worth of change that dropped out of the coin box. I have a first generation iPod touch that I am using with the GTA Car Kit. It sounds fantastic through the Bose audio system. I’m glad I didn’t replace the stereo with an aftermarket unit. The YouTube video was very helpful.
Thanks so much!

Installed and and operated just as described in video. Took my time and it took about 2 hours start to finish. Only thing tricky was positioning the control box, it could not lay flat in area indicated, it had to be set on end right of the shifter otherwise the console would not fit and stuck up 1/4″. I did tie wrap the the two cables in a couple of places near the control box, around the wire harness running thru console so the cables would not pull out. Great product. Great video, very helpful. Without it I would not have known where to even start.

“I first wrote to you saying your video was very well done but NOW, it is just awesome!!!
Having a 2000 TL it’s amazing to see how car stereo has changed in such a short time. Of course, I’m old enough to remember having an 8-Track player between the front seats. But we also had .26 cent gasoline then too. Now I read CD’s are on their way out. Oh well.
The kit went in without a hitch. Acura really screwed this car together. I did move the control unit into the center console box since there was a long enough cable, by drilling a 1 inch hole which will get a grommet. It sounds fantastic with the iPhone. To think I was planning on replacing the head unit. I’m glad I didn’t. I didn’t realize there was that much power in the radio from just listening to radio stations.
Anyway, I’m glad I found your You Tube Video for my car. Excellent People, Excellent Service, Excellent Company, and Excellent Product.
Thanks so much”

“I first heard about GTA Car Kits through a quick google search.
I tried FM Modulators in the past but the sound wasn’t full and the volume capacity was low. Once my casette deck broke in my car, I knew I had to try something new out (as I cannot stand 85% of the music they play on the radio). I never even wanted to try going down the wireless FM transmitters because I heard enough to know they don’t work well. GTA Car Kits was specialized for my model, so I felt it would work best because it wasn’t mass produced as a one size fits all sort of thing.
The shipping was super fast – 3 days.
Installation took about 2 hours from start to finish. No extra tools were needed. I just wrapped a screwdriver up with electrical tape to pry off the panels in a safe manner.
I use my TomTom Go 910 GPS with AUX. I ran the cables under my steering wheel behind a few panels.
The price for the GTA car kit was basically the same for a modulator, and a modulator doesn’t work well in all cars, especially those with their attenna on the back windshield. GTA Car Kit was a specialized product made specifically for car makes and models. Even the size and shape of the product fits well in my car.

“Just want to say thanks to the boys of GTA car kits, they did a great job in my 2003 Acura tl and used my car on the how to do it yourself, and made a you tube video on the installation.
The sound is crisp and clear, and using the control from the stearing wheel and charging my phone at the same time is great.
Thanks GTA!”
