I’ve had the Pure Bluetooth with Aux for several years now and I love it. I have a 2005 Solara with GPS/Navigation, and I didn’t have to remove the radio. I removed the box under the radio and reached under and fiddled around until I found the CD changer jack. That was all I had to do to the radio.
Now to use t he phone, I press CD, twice, once to get to the CD and once what it calls CD Changer, but is really GTA Carkit. It’s best to avoid removing the radio because the dash starts to crack and gets brittle , certainly by now 2023, but even years ago when I did this. I bought a round plate with a USB and an AUX jack and mounted that in the back of the box under the radio. Also put in a second cigarette lighter, this one is always on, even if the car is off, so I can charge phones and toy airplane batteries even with the car off. Also put in something with a digital car voltage display and two USB charging jacks. It was hard to get the box back in the dash with all those things sticking out, but now it’s done and doens’t have to be redone. I ran the microphone up the A-pillar and put it at the top. I’ve called my home phone machine and it gives good fidelity, even when moving, even when the top is down iirc. When the phone rings I press CD and it answers. And I listen to web radio from my phone to the car radio. Works great. Well worth the money

I ordered a bluetooth Kit for 2004 Toyota Solara. Until now, to use spotify, I have to use a unwieldy cassette (!!!) to aux cable to connect to my iPhone.
This kit is absolutely perfect! Installation is a breeze if you follow their instruction videos correctly. The bluetooth hands free as well as music via iPhone was what I was sorely missing in this car, and was almost contemplating an upgrade to a newer car. But this mod helps me hold on to this otherwise mechanically perfect car.
The sound clarity of music streaming through bluetooth is really good. My only regret is that I didn’t figure out this option sooner. This kit also comes along with an aux cable and an ability to charge your phone. A Well rounded kit which covers all the important needs!
They have multiple videos on youtube for installation in different cars. I found their customer support to be great in helping me to get my kit.
I would definitely recommend GTA Car Kits to my friends and family. Their cost is very reasonable for the benefits of hands free calling as well as streaming music through your phone.

I purchased your Bluetooth kit (order 36841) back in April for my 2008 Toyota Solara and I have been putting off installation because I figured it would be a complete aggravation.
I don’t normally write reviews on products, it’s tedious, and I always figure the authors are biased anyway. However, the installation of this device and the InDash mount I purchased was simple, and exactly as demonstrated in your excellent videos.
I could have accomplished the entire install in under an hour, if I didn’t constantly misplace the next piece I needed, and then spent half an hour looking for it, to find that I was sitting on it!
I was certain that the device would not provide all the advertised functionality, but I was very pleased when it worked exactly as advertised. Now my IPhone 6S connects via bluetooth, and I am positioned to upgrade to IPhone 7.
Simple installation of a great product. It doesn’t get any better.
I congratulate GTA Car Kits for an excellent product with excellent instructions.

Received and installed the Bluetooth kit for my daughter’s 2006 Toyota Solara that had the base factory radio. Took me maybe 30 minutes for the complete install process, including wiring the mic. Now my daughter has full bluetooth capability (makes me feel much safer), and she absolutely loves it! Great product that lives up to exactly what is says it does. Couldn’t be more pleased.

I just finished installing this in my 2006 Solara with Navigation. Following the instructions in the video I was able to install this kit in about an hour. I did not need to remove the upper vent panel to get to the back of the radio. I was able to reach up behind the radio and plug in the kit. I have a JBL e7001 head unit with navigation and satellite XM radio. Everything works perfectly with the kit installed. I am so happy to have an aux jack in my car now to play music! I’m pretty sure I’ll be ordering the bluetooth kit too. Wonderful kit. thank you!

“I just installed my GTA car kit on my 2006 Toyota Solara Convertable.
I was very leary ahout trying to remove the vent portion of my dash because it was in the sun for the last 6 years and I didn’t want to crack it. I found a way to get to the back of the radio without removing that piece. Once you remove the bottom section around the gear shift and the box under the radio, you can reach your hand up and feel the back of the radio and the harness plugs right in. I have big hands and although it was a bit of a struggle it beat trying to remove the vents on my dash. It took the longest to connect the harness, maybe about 5 minutes but it was worth it not having to remove the radio or vents at all. Just a suggestion it works great!!!
I love it.
Thanks”

“Hello,
I was online looking for a way to cut costs and install a more Permanent Ipod solution than the FM transmitter I’d been using for 5 years when I came across the YouTube video on how to install an Ipod AUX via GTA car kits.
I did consider other car kits but the GTA seemed easy to install and was reasonably priced, considering the installer I called wanted $200 to install the AUX.
The shipping took only 2 days which was great, and the installation took me about an hour but only because I’m not a mechanic and certainly not used to taking a dash apart. I probably could have done it in a half hour if I tried again! No extra tools were required I used the tape over screwdriver method, very concerned I might scratch the dash. I did have to tug a little more than expected to remove the top vent portion but after removing it I realized the clips are tight for a reason, it just felt like I was going to break something, I didn’t. The video was extremely helpful in installing the Ipod Kit as the gentleman talking and demonstrating was breaking the installation down to laymans terms which was perfect!
I am using a traditional Apple Ipod but what is perfect is I’m considering getting an Iphone because it would stay charged without using the automobile charger receptacle! I drilled a quarter size hole in back using a large drill bit to allow the cords to come through.
I like the quality of the GTA car kit the most of all the features about it! Definitely a good value I would recommend to a friend!”
