I’ve had the product for at least a year now and I’ve enjoyed having the Bluetooth. I can hear my music/videos clearly, take/make calls. It does what it says It does. Only minor thing is during start up it’s trying to connect so it pauses and plays for the first 30 seoconds. Other minor thing is when my friends connect to Bluetooth and they get out, the Bluetooth tries to connect to them again so I’ll have to disconnect and reconnect so it stops beeping. Other than that I am happy with the gta car kit for my tundra.

This is my second review. In the first one I said I loved the product but the only issue was that the Bluetooth didn’t work. The AUX was great but I was bummed about the BT. After about 30 minutes, the device popped up on my phone, so I take back what I said. This products is amazing and works flawlessly.

Ordered for my dad’s 2006 Toyota Tundra. Install was easy and just like the video – works with his Android and my iPhone. He was delighted to have the GTA unit to add Bluetooth to his factory radio that before didn’t even have an Aux Jack without having to give up his familiar controls. Five stars.

I’ve been using this setup in 2006 Double Cab for several years now. Works flawlessly. Several model iPhones of the years…zero issues. Fantastic solution.

Very impressed with the quality of sound. Great install video and works flawlessly. Would only suggest a strip of double sided tape be added. But nevertheless I highly recommend.

I am an avid audiobook listener who have been using my old ipod nano through a FM transmitter for years. Recently I started having problems and came across GTAcarkits while looking for a better option then the transmitter. Why didn’t find this years ago.
the kit was super easy to install thanks to their video and in less than 30 min had it installed in my 2005 tundra. the only thing was I was not impressed with the wires just hanging down under the glove box. thankfully I had two blank switch covers under my ash trash by my center console. I popped one of the covers out and drilled two holes threw it and boom no more hanging wires.
Crystal clear sound and I really like that I can control the ipod threw the radio controls now. this is a great product and I would highly recommend.

I was a bit sceptical since the price on this is what I consider pretty low, and it’s not available through retailers. The video is very comprehensive and made for simple installation. The bluetooth paired quickly, and the sound is as good as factory on new vehicles. Test call indicated that the other end can hear me fine. I also ordered the panel tool kit, which would be a bargain at twice the price, and the USB cable. USB cables are not all made equally. Not only is this one high quality, but it has the braided fabric sheath instead of rubber, which will be more durable and less prone to getting stuck where I routed it. Installation took me under an hour, and I had extra steps because of where my trailer brake controller is installed. Nice work guys.

I’ve been using this now for a couple of years and wanted to post a review since it has been extremely reliable. I put this in my 2006 Tundra with the wired iPod/Aux/BT model. The videos on this site are extremely helpful and taking apart the dash and routing the cables was a breeze. Took about an hour to install from first screw removed, to last tightened down. I placed the mic in the upper left of the windshield and routed the wire under the panels so nothing but the mic shows. The unit pairs with my iPhone as soon as I am in BT range and easily toggles to my iPod Classic (I keep an extensive music and podcast library on my iPod) with a push of a button. Reception is crystal clear through the stereo system, and people state that they can hear me crystal clear when talking on the phone. I take my truck off road with lots of bumps and so far, everything stays put and just works. I highly recommend this upgrade for crystal clear hands free upgrade to those of us with “classic” equipment.

This is the best upgrade to my Toyota Tundra 2004 I’ve ever made. Easy to install and works great.

My wife bought the BT with AUX for my birthday. It was easy to install, and the video made it that much easier. The unit works great and I’m very pleased, and glad I found the GTA Car Kits website. This unit saved me hundreds with not having to replace my factory radio.
Thanks GTA!

I wish I would have found this kit years ago! Super easy to install, thanks to the great step-by-step video. Customer service is outstanding. I emailed to figure out a bluetooth connection issue I was having with iOS9 after using the kit for about a week…they were quick to respond and very helpful. Very happy with my purchase.

About 3 months ago I installed a GTA car kit in My limited addition Toyota Tundra 2005. I was easy to install, steams music, and the hands free phone call feature works perfect every time. This kits was not expensive and after a couple tickets for using my phone while driving this kit will potentially save me thousands of dollars. I highly recommend this system.

I ordered this for my 2004 Toyota Tundra quad cab. It took about 20 minutes to install. The video made is super easy to disassemble the dash and install. I bought a iPhone 30 pin to lighting cable and it works perfectly with my iPhone 5s, iPad and IPhone 6. The kit is fantastic and the suggested cable routing methods worked perfectly.
Overall, one of the best value upgrades I have done to my truck.
GTA Car kits also shipped this quick, it came within 3 days.

“I did some research online to determine the best way to add MP3 capability to my existing Truck audio system. I was considering an FM transmitter but even with the direct FM integration they did not seem to be a reliable solution.
Shipping was great. I think it arrived 3 days after the order.
Installation was simple, I have installed car stereo equipment before so I have experience. The video was very helpful as it pointed out specifically which dash components needed to be removed – I think a person with no experience could complete the install after watching the video.
I am using an iPhone 5. I was able to place the GTA module behind the head control unit and run the cables out between the ash tray and cup holder assembly. This allowed the cables to set in the console tray which is where I keep the phone. I could have alternately run the cables into the center console but this was not necessary for my needs.
I didn’t have any issues with the product or the purchasing experience. Folks should just be aware that they will need to purchase the separate 30-pin to lightning adapter if they have newer apple products.
I would recommend the product – I think it’s a good value with a simple installation. It saved me purchasing a replacement audio system which was really unnecessary since the factory unit is high quality and still works fine. Thanks for a well-made product!”

“My wife found GTA Car Kit first, ordered one and had a great experience. So, I ordered one.
I tried the FM transmitters, but you get a lot of interference while driving around. I also used some cassette adapters, but they kept breaking after awhile and the sound quality was not very good. I picked GTA because my wife had a great experience with hers and I love the fact that I can control the music with my steering wheel controls.
The shipping was very quick! I got mine in 2 or 3 business days.
Installation was easy. I found easy to follow videos on the Internet/YouTube. It took me less than 30 minutes. I already have a lot of tools, so I didn’t have to buy any extra tools. I easily found video on YouTube on how to remove my control panel. I figured out the rest.
I’m using my iPhone 4. I ran the cable in between my ashtray and cup holder. There was a gap that worked really well, which allows me to place my iPhone on my center console.
I really like the ability to control my iPhone with my steering wheel controls and that it charges my phone at the same time. No need to hook up a separate charger.
Overall GTA Car Kit is a GREAT product!”
