Great value quality product, straightforward to install and excellent after sales service for people like me who forget they unplugged the aux to usb and can’t figure out where the audio has gone

I installed the CarPlay kit in my 2017 S63 Coupe. It was exactly as the video showed. A pretty easy job. I ran into an issue where I plugged my audio output into the mic. I contacted GTA and they had my answer in less than an hour. These guys are great to deal with and knowledgeable. The kit is high quality.

Installing this unit was one of the easiest installs I ever did. I watched the video several times to get comfortable with all the steps. I recommend following along step by step on your phone pausing, as you perform each step so you have the ability to verify each connection as you make it. One of my concerns was making sure I didn’t damage anything along the way and covering the dash with a soft detailing towel helped. All in all it was a very easy install. It is as easy as it looks.
I couldn’t be happier with the unit.
The unit works perfectly.

I am not one to take manufacturers much to their claims, so I do a lot of research, ask a lot of questions and study those claims before pulling the trigger on any major purchase. I am an older consumer so $500 to me is a major purchase. I spoke with Vitaly at GTA on several occasions before purchasing the kit for my 2017 Mercedes S550. He was very forthcoming on details, answering all my questions and giving me lots of advice on installation. I decided to go forward when GTA guaranteed the system will work with my COMAND system in my car. And while I have been able to do a lot of work on my cars in the past, I am getting older and just did not want to crawl from front to back to do all the work, and therefore hired an independent installer to do the work.
He looked at the kit, which he said was very well designed, found everything he needed and confirmed the installation should go easily. I gave him a copy of the installation video which he watched and it took him a little more than an hour and fifteen minutes to install….he did have one glitch, called GTA and they answered his question quickly and the installation was done.
The system works just as they advertised. The car is not set up as the newer cars with touch screen, but all the CarPlay options seem to be in place to use with the console controls. The maps are great and system seems to be very reliable. Have had it in my car for almost two months and the maps are a thousand times better than the old COMAND system maps available from Mercedes….and no upgrade charge every year.
Thanks to Vitaly and Maurizio for all their help and for the patience from all my questions, which were quickly and professionally answered.

I installed the kit in a 2015 S550/W222 with splitview up front, rear TVs and rear DVD, and 4 zone climate control. Mostly, I followed the instructions. Everything is working perfectly.
There are some differences from the video with 4 zone climate. There is a fan under the center console where the video suggests placing the GTA control unit. Also, there’s generally less space under the center console for cars with 4 zone climate. I tried placing the unit just in front of the fan, but could not reinstall the center console. I eventually stood the GTA unit up just under the car’s CD changer head unit with most cables to the left and usb cable to the right. I put the bundle of wiring harness wires behind the GTA unit before standing it up under the CD changer. I was able to reinstall the center console with the GTA unit in that spot. It’s a tight fit, but it fits.
I recommend putting tape or plastic wrap over the wood trim on the dash and also the face of the CD changer. I scratched my CD changer’s face when standing it on end to remove the wiring harnesses from the back of the CD changer to install the GTA wiring harnesses.
Finally i noticed there is a small door in the bottom of the armrest compartment. You can pop it open and feed the GTA wires through there if you don’t want to drill a hole.
