We confirmed that GTA Car Kit works with Apple's Lightning Adapter without any issues. We are not sure when we would have clean iPhone 5 cable or adapter as Apple does not license its proprietary 9-pin connection to any 3-rd party.

Listen to your iPod, iPhone or mp3 player with CD quality

When it comes to the integration of the iPod, iPhone or mp3 player with your car, the most affordable and easier option would be FM transmitters.
However, unless you live in very rural areas, your FM transmitter will interfere with broadcasting on existing FM frequencies, causing overlay of static noises over your sound tracks.
Most of our customers had FM transmitter in the past, but turned to GTA Car Kits due to the CD-like quality of sound and ability to control the iPod and iPhone with the car controls.

Switching to iPod and AUX modes is also done through your radio.
Last position memory

The last position memory feature will automatically pause your iPod or iPhone when you turn off your car or your turn off your radio. Next time you start the car or the radio - your iPod/iPhone will automatically resume to the song at the place where it left off.
Keep your iPhone/iPod always charged

GTA Car Kits will keep your iPod/iPhone charged. It supports both 5 Volt and 12 Volt standards (meaning that it can charge both classic and newest Apple products including iPhone 4 and iPod Touch 4th generation).
Please note that our kit does not charge iPad.
