  • I bought the GTA kit when I bought a used ’09 Accord Coupe. The kit was very well made, instructions are clear and concise and it works great. I have been using it for the past 7 months with my 160Gb iPod Classic and it has worked perfectly every day. Highly recommended!

  • Works just like advertised. Thank you gta car kits. Also if you have xm radio make sure you get the extra plug wire. It costs a couple dollars more but you don’t loose anything. You wont loose ability to use your cd player with this gta car kit unlike a lot of other car kits on the market. Next Im gonna get the Bluetooth.

  • I was very concerned that the product and the install could not be as easy as the videos made it seem. Maybe all those reviews were from fake people just to get me to buy the product.
However, it was very easy to install and the Car Kit worked perfectly. My wife loves it and her phone charges, plays music and is readily available with the phone holder I also purchased. All the products are great quality and work as described. I had the whole thing installed and working before dinner was ready! The sound is really great and the videos made the install flawless.

  • This is a great product! I have a 2004 Touareg with CD Navigation head unit. When I first hooked this up exactly as the video states. I found I was running into some issues with no sound. I emailed and within 24 hours Maurizio emailed me back with the solution to the problem. Which is to not hook the stock blue harness into the kit patch harness. Problem solved and enjoying my ipod after a year of listening only to the radio.

My only problem and complaint with this product is that it should be priced around 75 dollars. 145 dollars seems a bit high for a couple of cables and a circuit board in a black box.

  • Finally installed this kit in my 2004 4Runner. Works as advertised, easy to install – I’m very happy, especially since my CD player could not be repaired. Well worth it!

  • I picked this up for my 2010 Rav4. I was able to install it myself without any issues thanks to the installation video posted online. I have been using it for about 8 months now without any issues. I love the ability to change songs using the OEM stereo while my phone is tucked away. Great product idea and I’m so glad I found it.

  • I bought this GTA car kit for my 2004 Acura TSX. Shipping was very quick and installation took me only 5 or 6 minutes. I only needed the AUX cable since I don’t use an iPhone/iPod so I only installed it with the AUX cable fed through the side of the compartment that I pulled out to install the device. Sound is crystal clear and I haven’t had any issues whatsoever. I have the AUX plugged into my Samsung GS4 and I’m able to listen to music and GPS directions. Since I have my phone sitting right in front of me on a mount, I even answer calls and carry conversations hands free. I can hear people through my speakers just fine and people can hear me on the other end with no problems.

Thank you GTA car kits for a great product! I am a very happy customer!

  • Pretty much like most have said, this was an easy install, and it worked great. Sounds is great. I installed this on a 2004 Toyota 4Runner with Nav/JBL system. Shipping was prompt, and both aux and ipod interface works well. My aux is plugged into my satellite radio, and that sounds good, and the Ipod interface sounds great! When both are plugged, the iPod interface takes precedence of the two devices.

  • This was my second install of a kit along with the bluetooth adapter. The videos are as noted extremely helpful especially when it comes to removing the dash panels and trim needed for a clean install. I would recommend picking up a trim tool kit as they will come in handy for this and other efforts.

I installed the kit with son who is taking over use of the Sequoia and for these model SUVs had no capability for input or bluetooth capability with even the “Limited” JBL stereo. My first thought was to completely replace the head unit but when I saw this product I was thrilled with being able to keep the OEM look and add features with minimal changes to the vehicle.

On the install the only items of note was for the 2006 model at least for the the “Limited” version there are 4 panel screws / bolts to be removed from the under the steering wheel. The 4th is located all the way down on the left side.

When we installed the “extra button for the bluetooth we located the round button just to the left hand side of the center dash area rather than lower by the ignition as for safety reasons I wanted to have the button in view to be able to take a call rather then having to look down off the road. The cable for the button fits between the gap in the trim piece you need to remove in order to install and i was able to get it pretty tight so you really don’t see it (the cable).

Overall I have been pleased with the product and the only thing to keep in mind with the bluetooth use is you have to have the “Disk Changer” selected when you take or place a call. Not remembering this can lead to some frustration as if you are listening to the “radio” and you can’t figure out why the speakers are not engaging when you “take the call” that just came in.

    Great product
